POSITION OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE
The primary focus of this role is to conduct data analysis, collection and development of financial, operational reports/dashboards and visualizations within Tableau. Responsibilities will include monitoring data quality, identifying data issues, understanding various technical/functional business processes and providing resolutions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
• Work with key stakeholders to define business processes, specifications, reporting needs and functional requirements.
• Design, develop and implement reports, dashboards to effectively meet business needs.
• Document system processes, functionality and implement improvements as applicable.
• Maintain issues log and collaborate with team to mitigate risks and proactively search for improvement opportunities.
• Present data resolution findings to relevant stakeholders with recommendations (based on timelines and scale of impact) to ensure business needs are met.
• Develop and maintain documentation such as design specifications for reports and end-user guides.
• Serve as data champion, working with and educating business stakeholders to drive the adoption of the data analytics/visualization tool across the organization.
• Maintain operational and financial data integrity.

QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Finance, Accounting or related field
• Experience with reporting/query tools in Tableau (preferred) or Power BI
• Knowledge and understanding of SQL (or gathering data from other relation database systems)
• Extensive experience in data analysis, dashboarding, analytics and decision support system
• Experience with creating and maintaining master data hierarchies combining multiple data sets
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of organization
• Experience in 3PL supply chain/logistics industry a plus but not necessary
